Anna studied violin and piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music for over 10 years and has an ARIAM Teaching Diploma in piano. She has been teaching violin and piano for over 5 years and has performed in chamber groups such as the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland and Trinity Orchestra.
Alongside her active involvement with music during her teens, Anna also began to develop an interest in the psychological benefits of music. This interest solidified through her involvement with volunteer projects such as Music Matters and the Saint Agnes’ Violin Project in Crumlin.
Anna went on to complete a Bachelor of Psychology at Trinity College Dublin and plans to combine her two passions of music and psychology to later pursue a career in Music Therapy. Anna always has her students’ best interests at heart and her psychological background gives her an empathetic and reflective approach to teaching.
