Grainne was introduced to Trumpet and Piano at the age of 6 and later began her studies in Voice, Trombone, French Horn and Composition, at the Kerry School of Music. Grainne has been involved in both Orchestral and Jazz ensembles throughout the country, and has performed internationally with Choirs and Orchestras for many years. She is currently the assistant Conductor of the Kerry School of Music Orchestra and also the Director of the Senior Wind Ensemble with the school’s Performing Arts Group.
Grainne has also performed as part of the the Light Opera Society of Tralee, in their Award Winning productions, as well as being a member of the West End Touring Productions housed in the I.N.E.C. She has recently taken over as Director and Producer of the Light Opera Society and has produced sold out performances of Les Miserables, The Phantom of the the Opera and Evita.
Grainne has an honours degree from University of Limerick, and is currently studying for her Masters.
